Here I am going to tell you facts and other stuff that has to do with horses. For example the horse below is a paint but it obviously doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
This is a Clydesdale, They are one of the biggest, tallest horses that are around anywhere. The Clydesdale originated from scotland and is a very hard working breed. Clydesdales are usualy always over 18 hands high (six feet). They are also very intelligent and have a very smoth gait when it comes ot riding them, also they are usually only one solid color with a white belly to match it.
This is a black Arabian mare. Arabians are one of the horses with the most durability, also called stamina, and agility. They are also very proud, noble creatures that could have easily stayed away from people but it was almost like they wanted to get caught so that we could have them and enjoy their beauty. Arabians are one of the oldest purebreds in the world. there noble blood line was used to produce Andalusians, Lipizzaners, English thoroughbreds, and Trakehners along with being used to improve every other breed around.
And now the Lipizzaner, the purest horse in the world. They are only known to have been breed over seas and when the give birth to a foal that is't white they will kill it. It is almost impossible to get them to sell one of the horses because they want to keep them purebred because of there beauty. Lipizzaners are best known for their ability to jump, they can jump over a six foot fence while they are standing still.
And now the Freisian, my friends favorite horse these horses are the best at dressage. Freisians are also always black there is no other variation in color, they are usually 15 hands tall. Freisians have been an all around type of horse since the middle ages and was riden in to war by the knights of the "Round Table".
These are great horses in everything and are pretty easy to handle if trained the right way. These are also the horses that I ride most of the time, and most of them have wonderful gaits.
Tthoroughbreds are bascially an all around horse, but were bred specifically for speed. They are also very good jumpers and are the choice breed for jumping competitions, they are usually crossbred with hanoverians, holsteiners, and westphalian are a few of the breeds. Now a days thoroughbreds are mostly used for competition, racing, shows, and pleasure riding.
This is a Hanoverian, which is one of the best jumping horses in the world. Hanoverians is my favorite breed of horse and is also gorgeous, if cared for properly this horse can be one of the gentlest animals around. Animal World .com said," The Hanoverian is a warmblood breed; warmbloods being a mix of light and heavy horse. It is one of the oldest and most numerous of the warmbloods. Its history goes back to 17th century when Spanish, oriental, and Neapolitan stallions were imported to Germany. They were bred with local mares, possibly with some early warhorse ancestry, and here developed the Holsteiner." Later you will see the Holsteiner and so therefore see the Hanoverian at an earler stage.
This is the Holsteiner, one of the ancestors of the Hanoverians, and also an excellent jumper. The Holsteiner is an intellegent breed and a fast learner. They have very intellegent babys that will learn very fast if you start early in socializing and teaching them to stand for grooming and such then they will be even easier to gentle for riding. If cared for properly these horses could easily get you the blue ribbon in the leading class.
Westphalians are also an old breed in horse jumping history. These resemble draft horses since they were originally bred for farm work, like plowing. We do not know much about these horses because a lot of their ancestry was distroyed in germany, where they originated. We only know where they originated.
